The Serenity Prayer Studies

More Resources For Your Groups

These Meeting Guides are FREE for you to copy
and use in your meetings.

After working through the Twelve Steps a few times using Prayer Steps to Serenity the Twelve Steps Journey: New Serenity Prayer Edition and the Meeting Guides available on the Serenity Groups web site, some of us have worked together to create 12 new studies based on The Serenity Prayer and the Twelve Steps. These new study guides basically follow the group meeting format of the older guides; however, the focus is more on prayer (learning more about prayer and how to pray) and the study guides ask different questions each week that relate to each of the 12 Steps and how they relate specifically to The Serenity Prayer.

Feel free to use these new study guides as they are or revise them for your own group. Some of us have also discovered that by offering a study of The Serenity Prayer we have attracted people who would not ordinarily attend a recovery meeting. Therefore, you may find these new studies a good way to introduce the Twelve Steps and your recovery program to newcomers and those who need to be working a recovery program. Below, you will find studies for the first 5 Steps. If you find these studies helpful, please let us know and we will e-mail you the other studies as your group progresses. Send you request to us by e-mail now.

Feel free to copy these guides, punch holes in the margin, and put in three ring binders for each person in your meeting. We give one meeting guide to each person each week to encourage regular attendance at meetings; then give back meeting guides upon request.
